Finch Highlights Need for Immediate Property Tax Cap
"Today, the Suozzi Commission released their final
report on their recommendations for the state's property tax system.
Governor Paterson's approval of their support for a property tax cap and
the elimination of unfunded mandates are in line with what my colleagues
and I have repeatedly stated. We must cap property taxes immediately in
order to ease the immense burden felt by residents and business owners
in the state."
